Pets

Pets are allowed but must be on a 6 ft. leash, quiet, and not left unattended at any time. Please clean up after them.

Dump Station

The park does not have a Dump Station; however, all of our campsites have full hookups including sewer for your convenience. All campers are required to be self-contained using their hookups- we do not have group restrooms/showers.

ATV'S/Motorbikes, Scooters, Carts, etc.

ATV's/motorbikes, scooters, carts, etc. are permitted in the park, but must stay on the road & idle slowly. They cannot be driven around the park, only from the campsite to the trail. All drivers must have the required license to operate them.

Attractions

Attractions in the area include the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, (BWCAW), the International Wolf Center, the Dorothy Molter Museum, the Tower/Soudan Underground Mine, the North American Bear Center, and many specialty shops to visit.

PONTOON, BOAT, & CANOE RENTALS

Pontoon, Boat, & Canoe Rental is available from nearby Timber Bay Lodge & Houseboats. Call Timber Bay at 1-800-846-6821 in advance to make arrangements. Birch Lake RV Park does not have dock space; however, boats can be tied up at the public swimming beach located next to the campground. The public boat landing is 1/2 mile from the campground for your convenience.

Golf

Golfing is available at the Babbitt Golf Course & the Ely Golf Course. Both courses are 9-hole courses.
